LG rolls out new Chocolate handset LG-BL40
LG Electronics (LG) has released the new Chocolate handset LG-BL40. The fourth handset of the Black Label Series will be offered in Europe from mid-September, with other countries to follow. The BL 40 has an extra wide 4 inch, WVGA (800 x345pixel) screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio. The device is a touchscreen that supports multitouch. Other features of the LG BL40 include 7.2 HSDPA connectivity for fast Internet browsing, 370h stand-by, talk time of 5hr in 3G network while 6hrs in 2G network, 5 megapixel camera with Schneider Kreuznach optics, Bluetooth, WiFi, FM Radio, video recording, and microSD card slot and fast email. The new phone comes in a slim shape casing with glossy black finish and iconic red highlights. The new handset also has a curved scratch-resistant glass surface. The measurements of the BL40 are 128 x 51 x 10.9mm and the weight is 129g. The phone comes packed with 1GB internal memory, which can be further expanded using microSD memory card slot up to 32GB. 
Nokia N800 Internet Tablet
Remember the Nokia 770 Tablet ? Well, if not heres the successor for it. The Nokia N800 is latest addition from Nokia in the Internet Tablet market. The N800 comes with a VGA camera which can mainly be used as a Webcam. It has a 4.13 inch screen with stereo speakers.
The Nokia N800 comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth as well. You can't say that the N800 is too much better than the 770 in looks, infact the N800 is much wider than the N770. One thing that the N800 has which the N770 does not is the extra SD card slot. The N770 had a RS-MMC card slot so this is just a minor update.
We still don't know the difference in the processor and RAM specs but if there isn't too much difference in that I don't know why did they bother to bring in the update at all. The downside to both these internet tablets is the lack of GSM/CDMA compatibility. Why can't they just add the mobile feature after doing so much hard work!
